My Story
If you'd asked me just a few years ago what I'd be doing professionally now, I certainly wouldn't have responded 'Workday Systems Administrator'. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Finance, my career started in retail banking. I was selected for the company's leadership and management training program. It looked very attractive at first but two years down the road, I realized that it wasn't the career path I wanted to pursue.

This change of heart led to a role as a treasury analyst where I had the opportunity to work with an entire financial operations team. Focusing on cash management, from accounting to payroll, financial planning and analysis to accounts receivable and payable, and assets management, my work gave me exposure to a comprehensive financial entity. I didn't know at the time but this exposure would later become a solid foundation to the transition to the Workday Finance eco-system.

In fact, when the opportunity presented itself, I couldn't resist. It is the best professional decision I've made to date. I've since worked on several projects and Workday finance modules, as an SME and a leader, with some incredible people and teams.
